The crisis is damaging children. Many have been injured or killed in the violence; others have been traumatised by the fear of living in a hostile environment. Education has also been disrupted and malnutrition rates continue to rise.

Checkpoints, roadblocks and the construction of a 700km wall have restricted movement and many Palestinians cannot travel to work, sell goods at market or even access water. The Palestinian Authority (PA) – biggest employer in the Palestinian territories has had a 60% drop in its income.

Islamic Relief in Palestine

Islamic Relief has been providing humanitarian relief in Palestine since 1994 and projects in the region have included food distribution, medical relief and orphan sponsorship. Islamic Relief has also established educational enhancement centres, care programs for traumatized children and a school for the deaf.

Current project:

Islamic Relief is providing 20 widows in the Gaza Strip with higher education in order to equip them to become financially independent.

In Gaza, men are cast into the role of breadwinner. So when poorer families cannot afford to educate all their children, it is usually the girls who do not attend university.

With an ongoing conflict, most people have lost a friend or family to the violence. But when a woman is widowed, it can become extremely difficult for her to enter the job market. Usually she would be forced to return to her parents home or to remarry.

Our project is paying for the tuition fees, textbooks and educational materials transport to university for the two years it takes the 20 women to complete their degrees. The programme, which is now in its second year, aims to help women complete higher education, secure jobs and support their children.

Gaza floods December 2013

When flooding and power cuts struck Gaza, Islamic Relief was able to respond immediately thanks to generous donations to our Global Emergency Fund. This presentation shows how we helped:

Saheeh Al Ruiyah presents....

"What is needed and what's best for the Palestanian people"

Bismillah hir Rahman nir Raheem

Since the invasion of the Jewish settlers in Palestine, the innocents of it's land has suffered from a horrific unrest and injustice. Children deprived of Fathers from birth, Mothers buried in rubble with a child in her arms as life of both are swept from under their feet as quickly as she could say as salamu alaikum rahmatalah to fellow relatives entering the home for tea. This is the reality of the average Palestinian family or at minimum ones neighbor.

The solution that is at hand is indeed not the solution that will solve the problem for the palestinian people. As our brother Al Hajj Malik Al Shabaz said "Nobody can give you freedom. Nobody can give you equality or justice or anything. If you're a man, you take it". The solution to free the Muslims from such mortification is easily found in the Quran and the authentic Sunnah of the prophet sal Allahu alaihi Wa Salam. But strangely we seem to forget this, and indeed this is why our ummah suffers from such humiliation. We must return back to the basic fundamentals of our deen. Making knowledge priority and following the correct manhaj of the Salaf us Saleheen, this indeed will guide the lost sheep back to it's shepherd. But finding refuge in the arms of this dunyah is a first class ticket to internal and external destruction of ones foundation, which results to one falling in the arms of the Shayytan nir Rajeem.

Hamas being a living example of falling into corruptions arms, and claiming to have the islamic authority over Palestine, there legacy is drifting quickly toward the same oppressive rule that exist and has existed in the lands of the Muslims. Which consist of the following :

-ruling in the lands of islam without ruling by Shariah,

-rejecting the fundamental principles of our deen, claiming them to be barbaric or not able to progress with today's society.

-embracing ways that allows secular culture and societies to coexist with Islam.

-Not to mention the annihilation of potential Muslim leadership who adhere to the Quran and the Authentic Sunnah according to the understanding of the Salaf, whom to them oppose a threat to its secularist/moderate institution.

In which we witnessed with Sheikh Abdul Latif Musa may Allah accept his shaheed, who had elm and only wanted to apply it in the lands of the Muslims who needed it most. His tongue extended the sword of Tawheed ,slaying the enemies of Allah az wajil with taqwa and profound speech before the believers on the membar, not knowing that paradise would surely inshaAllah await his soul, he held tightly to the rope of Allah az wajil all the way up until his very last breath.

Doing the dirty work for the kuffar, Hamas terrorist group succeeded in there mission to please the Shaytaan and create a worse situation for the muslimeen of Palestine.

On the 14th of August 2009, Hamas Senior Leader in Gaza Ismail Haniya appeared on Al Jazeera stating the following :

"These declarations of an Islamic Emirate are aimed toward incitement against the Gaza Strip at an attempt at recruiting an international alliance against the Gaza Strip and we want those who are behind the Israeli Zionist declaration, the Gaza strip only contains its people".

First claiming that the Islamic Emirate was aimed against Gaza Strip, we found this claim to be the complete opposite, where as Sheikh Abdul Latif Musa and the likes of Khaled Banath provided correct practice of Islam as well as security for the Muslims and it's community. Falling back into the warm but deceitful embrace of the Shayytan, Hamas's second claim refuted the Muhajireen by stating that they were a international alliance against the Gaza Strip and the Gaza Strip only contained it's people. Turning this struggle between Muslims and the Israeli oppression into a nationalistic struggle Hamas has surrendered the mercy of Allah az wajil for a evil abode. But Hamas has made clear on several occasions that there struggle is one for Palestinian people and not one of religious cause.

The Palestinian people from what's apparent are not in need of democracy or any other man made law, this will only bring about more chaos amongst their people, confusion as well a system that goes against there very being as a muslim community. They must conform into a more sovereign system which is more conducive to there lifestyle and well being. A system that honors justice as well strict law keeping them balanced in character and morals due to the long length journey of oppression they've embarked. This system is known to the Muslims as Shariah law which is the divine Law meant to govern Muslims and non Muslims alike, the shariah should be the only Law the Palestinian people embrace and is the only law for them. Anything other than that leaves them in complete humiliation, as they've experienced since 1946.

So I'm sure one ask them self, " Hamas has been in power or founded rather since the 1980's, 1987 to be precise, why haven't they ruled by Shariah especially since the outside world does not interfere with there livelihood or there laws, let alone shows no interest in its very existence. The answers will surface someday inshaAllah though today it is unclear, but there motives due show signs of deviation, nationalism and sectarianism. Which leads to another Muslim land govern by secular law.

My advice to Hamas is to have Taqwa of your lord and purify yourselves from the atrocities committed against our beloved Sheikh Abdul Latif Musa raheemuAllh and the innocents of his community, beware of that which will befall you. And make istigfar for your kuffar for Allah az wajil is the most merciful and the all forgiving.

Ya muslimeen we must remember for the Muslim Islam and Shariah is not optional it's obligatory.

Wa Salam
Abu Qatil
